A family of Six, residing at Ogwa Street, Mile 1 Diobu, Rivers State, narrowly escaped death on Sunday when the Mercedes Benz 190 car they were supposed to travel in caught fire.
Neighbors told Africa Update that the car suddenly caught fire when an unknown substance allegedly dropped from under the car. The owner of the vehicle rushed to the scene, in time to save his children who were already waiting in the car for the trip to commence, from being burnt to death.
With help from neighbours, the fire was put under control and the children were rescued unhurt, while the father sustained minor injuries.
