Varsity Commences Perimeter Fencing of Female Students’ Hostels

Five days after an interactive session with the students, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education commenced the building of perimeter walls around female students’ hostels at the institution.

This was part of the safety measures announced by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Okechuku Onuchuku, to check unauthorised access to the students’ residence halls.

At the event, the Vice-Chancellor assured that his administration would provide the needed infrastructure for the well-being of the students within the limits of available funds.

Professor Onuchuku guaranteed that the students would get the right support and guidance throughout their studies at the university to enable them to graduate with good grades, as well as offer them complementary skills that would enhance their usefulness to national development.
