Ekweremadu’s whistle blower lands in Keffi Prison over false information

A magistrate court presided over by Magistrate Umar Kagarko has ordered that a fake whistle-blower , Mr Ahmed Echoda,  be remanded in Keffi Prison, pending the ruling on his bail application on June 5.

Officers of the Nigeria Police Force had arraigned the suspect on one count charge of giving false information to the police which led to the invasion of the official residence of the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, in Maitama axis in Abuja on Friday.

The suspect, however, pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned in court on Tuesday.
