The National President of the Divine Peace for Niger Delta Youth Initiative, Engr. Peter Angolapu said they decided to embark on a peaceful protest after several efforts made to meet with management of the commission failed. He called on the NDDC to be youth friendly and empower them with jobs.

He said, ” we have intimated this commission on what we are into. It’s all about peace and above all, we’ve also sent proposals demanding for our needs, they did not say anything. We also sent a reminder as touching those proposals, no response. So, that’s why we are here to know if this commission was established for foreigners or for the Niger Delta region.
