Coronavirus: Rotarians donate facemasks to Rivers Citizens

The rotary club of Port Harcourt garden city, district 9141, on Wednesday distributed 250 facemasks to residents of etche water front in borokiri, Port Harcourt city local government area.

The president of rotary club of Port Harcourt garden city monica ogwa led members of the club to distribute the facemasks.

Monica ogwa told journalists that the move was part of the rotary club’s contribution to the fight against coronavirus pandemic.

Other members of rotary club of Port Harcourt garden city, including some past presidents of the club who participated in the distribution advised residents of the area to continue to obey public health protocols including the stay-at-home instructions to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile some residents of etce waterfront who benefited from the free facemask have commended rotary club of Port Harcourt garden city for the gesture despite the hard times.
