Saturday November 13th was a very memorable day for the Browns as friends, associates and relatives besieged their residence in Rivers State to share their joy.
Chief Aroloyeteim Brown was honoured by the Notable outcome Newspaper, as he was presented with the outstanding leadership award, on the same day his beautiful wife, Mrs Soye Brown, clocked 50 years.
In his acceptance speech, Chief Brown said: Interestingly, the award is on leadership and for that reason, permit me to advice our leaders at different levels , using the words of Max Depree; the first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you.
” In between the leader is a servant. Similarly, Peter Drucker says: effective leadership is not about making speeches or being liked. Leadership is defined by results and not attributes.
“Our leaders need to go back to the drawing board and do the right things . The events of the last few days should serve as a warning to the leadership that the sleeping dog is awake”.
He expressed his profound gratitude to the management of the newspaper for the award .
