A blogger and daughter of a former Oyo State governor, Kemi Olunloyo, is ecstatic with happiness, following the withdrawal of charges of defamation slammed on her by the Founder and General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie.
She took to her Instagram page to announce her freedom , “My charges of #criminaldefamation has been dropped by Nigerian police and plaintiff Pastor David Ibiyeomie. I am now FREE!!
“Thank you to my loyal fans, my lawyers Kayode Ajulo and Eugene Meabe of Castle Law firm, Justice Oshomah at Federal High Court and Justice Fubara in magistrate court. PRAISE GOD!!
“I will apply to pick up my travel passport that was seized by the Federal Government as part of my bail conditions. God is good!”
Olunloyo, had a few days ago, visited Ibiyeomie to beg for pardon and was miraculously healed of an ailment she had been allegedly struggling with since childhood.
A church member told Africa Update that the blogger had become a born again Christian and a member of Salvation Ministries after that encounter with the man of God.
You will recall that Olunloyo, was arrested in March 2017, and held in prison custody in Port Harcourt alongside a port Harcourt based newspaper publisher, Samuel Walson, after a story about a porpurted affair between Ibiyeomie and a Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo was published .
