Breaking news: Rivers State APC Secretary, Emeka Bekee escapes death (Pictures)

The state secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rivers State Chapter, Chief Emeka Bekee, escaped death by the whiskers, this morning, (May 3, 2018),  when a branch of a tree fell on his vehicle.

According to an eyewitness who spoke to Africa Update, said the branch fell on the vehicle as the convoy conveying Bekee approached.

He stated that the timely response of Bekee’s security aides and the fact that the vehicle was not stationary, averted what would have been a fatal incident.

He further revealed that the driver of the vehicle was immediately rescued by the security operatives, who also rushed Bekee and two other occupants of the vehicle to an undisclosed hospital.

The incident which occurred at the Old GRA axis of Port Harcourt, during the heavy downpour, left passersby visibly shocked.

At the time of this report, the  APC State chairman, Chief Ibiamu Ikanya and other party officials had visited the scene of the accident , while the vehicle has been towed away.
