The Rivers state police command has confirmed the discovery of two fresh human heads in front of a church in Choba, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
The police public relation’s officer, Nnamdi Omoni told newsmen that police has launched a manhunt and investigations to unravel the actual circumstances that led to the beheading of the citizens.
In the meantime, the youth chairman of Choba community, Francis Ihunda said the community was thrown into panic over the discovery of the two heads at the junction detached from the bodies.
He promised the police that the community will partner with them to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
