Rivers State Government says renovation works will commence at the Obi Wali International Conference Center. A statement signed by the Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Elder Chinedu Tasie Nwobueze (JP), reads: This is to inform the general public that the Obi Wali International Conference Center, G.U Ake road, will be temporarily closed to public use from the 9th of August, 2021.
This is to enable the Rivers State Government carry out total renovation and maintenance exercise of the facility. Hopefully, the facility will be ready for public use by the end of the year. We regret any inconvenience this may cause intending users of the facility. Thanks
