Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, has expressed shock over the sudden demise of his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.
A statement issued on behalf of Gov. Wike, by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Paulinus Nsirim, descibed Nwakaudu as a loyal and dedicated member of his cabinet, whose immense contribution, led to the actualization of the new Rivers vision.
Africa Update learnt from reliable sources that Nwakaudu, an indigene of Abia State, died today, after a brief illness at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital.
The cause of his death is still unknown, but sources at Government House Port Harcourt said Nwakaudu, may have died of cardiac arrest.
