Ahoada Communities boil: cultists behead , kill dozens

About nineteen people are now feared dead at Ulapata and Idoha communities in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State following bloody cult clash between suspected Greenlanders and Icelanders.
Our reporter was told that the battle for supremacy allegedly led the Greenlanders to Idoha community on Saturday, where a family of four were gruesomely killed.
It was further gathered that this action resulted in the reprisal killings early Sunday morning at Ulapata community by Icelanders, which led to the murder of about fifteen people.
Several people were beheaded while others were killed by the cultists.
Residents of the affected communities have however, deserted their homes at the time of this report.
In a related development, residents of Agba Ndele community in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers state, on Sunday, witnessed the murder of a twenty-six year old year two student of Igunatus Ajuru University of Education by unknown gunmen.
With the increasing spate of killings and unrest in some communities in Rivers State, the inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase has vowed to apprehend the culprits and ensure their prosecution.
Speaking to journalists at an event in Port Harcourt over the weekend, he said a squad of homicide detectives would be deployed to the state to commence investigation.
