President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a closed-door meeting with the service chiefs at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
This was disclosed through the President’s official Twitter account, @NGRPresident.
The tweet reads, ”President @MBuhari chairing security meeting, at the State House.
”In attendance are Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Mohammed Monguno (rtd)
Service Chiefs, IG of Police, Ibrahim Idris and Heads of Intelligence Agencies.”
Part of the issues to be discussed is an appraisal of the security situation in the country.
This meeting is coming barely 24 hours after Vice President Osinbajo met with the IGP; Abubakar Malami, Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Lawan Daura, Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS).
