Director, Trauma, Emergency and Disaster Response Federal Ministry of Health, Prof Sydney Ibeanusi, is now President Elect of Nigerian Orthopedics Association. Prof Ibeanusi, was elected during the 44th Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the Nigerian Orthopaedic Association (NOA), in Calabar the Capital of Cross River State, on November 26.
The conference which is the flagship programme of Orthopedic Surgeons practicing in Nigeria, had the theme: “The Burden of Geriatric Trauma” with subthemes: “Bone and Joint Infections”,” Research in Orthopaedics” and “Impact of Covid-19 on Orthopaedics”.
