The National Council for Women Societies (NCWS), Rivers State Branch has urged women in different institutions to remain steadfast and display virtues that are worthy of emulation.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to Pharmacist Promise Anele, the State Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, PSN, Rivers State Chapter, the President of NCWS, Rivers State Branch, Mrs Bridget Pemii noted that women are catalyst for sustainable development whose contributions are important to build up the society and it is imperative to protect them from the use of fake drugs.
The president of PSN accepted the partnership offer and promised to introduce Rivers NCWS to the female wing of PSN known as Association of Ladies Pharmacists (ALPs).
He urged NCWS to be steadfast and display the virtues of godliness and leadership as they go about their duties.
Mrs Pemii said, NCWS has remained the umbrella body for all Women Associations in the Country, and urged PSN members in the state to be good ambassadors of their profession which will ensure the safety of all and sundry.
