A member of the Diobu vigilante group, has been shot by daredevil gunmen at the ilabuchi axis of Rivers state.
Africa Update gathered that the gunmen came in a Toyota Camry car, with sophisticated guns, at about 8;:20 pm.
The secretary of the diobu vigilante group, Prince Amatari, in a chat with newsmen, said, the gunmen stormed the street and opened fire on one of the vigilante men, identified as Kelvin Dappa.
He alleged that the attack was a sponsored one, targeted at him,(Amatari) and the Chief security officer of Dick tiger street, Obomanu Victor, AKA Pa Victor.
He disclosed that he was at Dick Tiger Street with Pa Victor, when they heard the gunshot. ‘We were thinking that the gunshot was coming from a very far admittance. Unknown to us, it was within and few minutes later, we recived calls that this our guy has been shot, who is now at BMH’, he stated.
