Residents of Rivers State, who have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination, can now receive the second dose, according to a public notice at the disposal of Africa Update. The public notice signed by the Management of the RIvers State Primary Health Care Management Board, reads:
The general public is by this announcement informed of the commencement of the 2nd dose COVID-19 vaccination in Rivers State; consequently, they are to revisit the same center where they took the first dose across the 23 LGAs with their green vaccination cards, six to eight weeks from the date of first dose.
Furthermore, members of the public who are above 18 years of age and have not taken the vaccine are still enjoined to take advantage of the exercise by visiting designated centers for their vaccination.
