The remains of Late Princess Mrs. Elizabeth R.M. Amachree, the grandmother of Engr. Hon. Sule Amachree, Ph.D, was committed to mother earth on Saturday, September 4, in Buguma City, Asari Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Friends and family besieged the Macjaja Gate Obiali Polo, in Buguma City to bid farewell to Late Princess Amachree, who died aged 96 years..
Her Grandson, Dr. Amachree, who is the Asssitant Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the State and Secretary of DAAR 3 Cluster Board, had political associates including members of the Kalabari Bridge Builders and Development Initiative, on hand to give emotional support.
Others who graced the funeral service are, Hon. Major Jack and Hon Anthony Soberekon, representing Akuku Toru and Degema Constituencies respectively at the Rivers State House of Assembly, The Chairman DAAR 3 Cluster Board, Hon. Mpaka Botoye, the Rivers State Executive Council of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, led by her Vice Chairman, Chukwuemeka Aaron, amongst several others.
