PDP constitutes committee to screen Deputy Governorship Candidates

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has constituted a committee to screen Deputy Governorship Candidates of “the party in all the 28 (twenty-eight) states where governorship elections are scheduled,” according to a statement signed by the National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Umar M. Bature.

The statement sighted by Africa Update reads: DEPUTY GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE SCREENING COMMITTEE (DGSC)

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Pursuant to the PDP’s Electoral Guidelines, PART V Paragraph 11 has approved the nomination of the following Party Stakeholders to serve on the *Deputy Governorship Candidate Screening Committee * for the purpose of the screening/verifying the nominated Deputy Governorship Candidates of our Party in all the 28 (twenty-eight) states where governorship elections are scheduled.

Rt. Hon. Binta Bello – Member

Mrs. Ayotunde George-Ologun – Member

Mrs. Debby Nicol – Member

Dr. Akilu Indabawa- Secretary

Mr Sunday Omobo – Administrative Secretary

The Screening Exercise will be at the National Working Committee (NWC) Hall, Wadata Plaza, Abuja FCT, on Wednesday June 22, 2022. Time is 10AM prompt.

Please note that this screening is MANDATORY for all nominated Deputy Gubernatorial Candidates of our Party. Congratulations!!
