The President General of Project Democracy, Gloria Boma Harry, says citizens should be well informed of the dangers inherent in electoral violence and drug abuse. Harry disclosed this at a press conference in Port Harcourt, ahead of a one day summit.

The summit, tagged: A campaign and election devoid of drugs and Violence; a prerequisite for good governance, will hold at the Convocation arena of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, on Thursday December 8th, 2022.

Harry said, the decision to collaborate with Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Nigeria Police Force, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, and Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was done in a bid to bring critical stakeholders together with the aim to end drug induced electoral violence.
