A Governor in a State controlled by the Peoples Democratic Party and his wife, escaped death by the whiskers on Thursday.
It was reported that a burst tyre in a vehicle in his convoy resulted in the death of a police intelligence officer attached to the first lady.

The governor of Taraba state governor, Darius Ishaku, and his wife, Anna, were allegedly returning from Takum where they spent the Christmas and New Year Holidays, when the unfortunate incident occurred along Bali Jalingo.
Reports say that two other occupants of the vehicle, a CIB police officer and a nurse are currently in critical condition.
