Leader of Ahoada West Local Government Area and APC Candidate for Rivers West Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Asita Honourable, on Monday, 20th March, 2023 paid condolence visit to the family of Late Esv. Chiosom Lennard, APC Ahoada West Campaign DG and Leader of Ward 10.
The deceased was gruesomely murdered by political thugs in his community at Ubeta on Saturday, 18th March, 2023 during the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections in Rivers State.
Rt. Hon. Asita who visited the deceased wife in Port Harcourt was accompanied by Stakeholders of the party from Ahoada West LGA.
Prayers were said on arrival by Asita and members of his entourage. They prayed that God should grant the soul of Late Lennard eternal rest and also the family, the fortitude to bear their irreversible loss.
Asita and his entourage also extended their condolence visit to Ubeta Community in Ahoada West LGA of Rivers State to commiserate with other family members, friends and relatives of the deceased.
Asita who spoke at the residence of Late Esv. Chiosom Lennard at Ubeta village, said “he was a party faithful, a good example to many. He represented hard work, diligence and unity. He will be greatly missed by his family, community, LGA and Rivers State at large.
In addition, Asita went further to console the families of two other party stalwarts who died alongside Late Lennard.
The other victims are Esor Godspower Ajahu from Ward 10, Unit 01 and Okpara Chienyere of Unit 01 Ward 10. Asita and his entourage also visited Mr. Isaac Itigwe JP who escaped assassination.
