A politician in Akwa Ibom State, contesting for Councillorship in the upcoming 2020 Local Government Elections, Friday Etim Ukim, has taken his nomination /interest forms to the shrine for prayers. Sources said Ukim, an Aspirant of Ward 7 in Urueoffong/Oruko Local Government Area, visited the Ward deity on Thursday, August 13, 2020, to pray for his election.
The Councillorship Aspirant who dressed on singlet and nickers, placed the forms in front of the deity, knelt and prayed with a bottle of gin while holding palm front on the other hand in line with their religious practice.
