A notorious kidnapper identified as Samuel Nakpoo, has met his Waterloo.
Nnamdi Omoni, the Police spokesman, said Nakpoo, known to have allegedly been responsible for the kidnap and robbery along Ogoni/ uyo road, was killed in the forest in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of the state.
Parading the lifeless Nakpoo at the Police headquarters in Port Harcourt, Omoni stated that he was shot on the leg during a raid in the forest, led by CSP Ahijo Lawson.
While other members of the gang fled, he died as a result of the injury.
He urged members of the public with useful information that could aid the arrest of the suspects, to provide such to the police.
Items recovered are; one GMP No NN 07150, Two G-3 rifles with breech now 81-85234 and 69090978, and 3,249 total number of ammunition and cartridges were recovered.
