About two people have been reportedly killed in Mgbuelia village in Rundele, Emohua local government of Rivers state by members of rival cult groups on Sunday, April 1, 2018, while the villagers were observing their hunting festival.
Africa Update gathered that a community leader, Chief Goodluck Umetor, was also kidnapped by gunmen, who invaded his residence, the following day, in the same community.
Eyewitness account revealed that the gunmen had allegedly broken into the community leader’s residence at about 10 p.m, on Monday, April 2, 2018.
Sporadic gunshot in the community was said to have sent villagers running for their dear lives .
