Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Hon Betta Edu, has received felicitations from the women Wing of the All progressives Congress APC in Rivers State, Africa Update reports.
The message signed by the Women Leader, APC Rivers State, Mrs. Beatrice Dappa Amobi, described the party’s former National Women Leader, as someone who has exhibited capacity over the years in all political tasks assigned to her.
Amobi, said there is no doubt that Edu will eradicate poverty in the country, with priority attention given to women.

As the former National Women Leader of APC, you worked assiduously for the victory of the party at the last presidential election.
“Your tenure was eventful and fruitful. You tried to carry all the states along, your heart is heavy to see that the standard of living for the Nigerian Women are significantly improved .I am certain that you will allow the wealth of experience gathered through decades of active involvement in politics to bear in your new assignments towards alleviating and eradication of poverty in the country, with priority attention given to women.
