Police arrests fake army officer for stealing from prostitutes

The Dutsen Alhaji Divisional Police,  has commenced investigation into a case of impersonation and extortion of money from prostitutes by 27 year old , Mr. Emeka who was arrested on Saturday at a brothel in Abuja .

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Aisha Yusuf, while confirming the arrest, said some amount of money and an army uniform were recovered from the suspect.

Africa Update gathered that Mr. Emeka, had arrived the brothel at Zone 2 area of Dutse Alhaji on Saturday with an accomplice,  who is now at large and had  reportedly extorted money from prostitutes .

They had allegedly broken into rooms demanding for money from the prostitutes. Some of the prostitutes were tied up with ropes for their inability to produce the minimum amount of N1,000, while those who refused to pay any money were beaten up.

Emeka who resides at Zone 3 in Dutse , was arrested at about 2.00 a.m. in the brothel dressed  in army camouflage by  police crime detection and prevention patrol team .
