The winner of the 2006 Gulder Ultimate Search, Hector Joberteh, has been killed in Lagos. Hector, according to reports had gone out, earlier Saturday morning to pick his younger brother from the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos State.
The GUS season 3 winner and father of one, was reportedly trailed from the Airport to his home by two gunmen, to his house in Lagos, and shot dead by two unknown gunmen.
Eyewitnesses report that two men had forcibly gained entrance into the compound where Hector lived and questioned a few residents for his (Hector’s) whereabouts, after which upon sighting him, opened fire.
Hector’s father was also said to have been shot in the hand and is currently recuperating in the hospital.
