The Rivers State Government has directed the opening of the Ogun-abali Fruit and Vegetable Market from Monday 8th June, 2020.
Speaking to journalists after the Executive Council meeting at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state Capital, Commissioner for Special Duty, Dr Bariere Thomas, said ‘Covid-19 safety protocols to be observed at the market include: The compulsory wearing of face masks. Proper Social distancing. Washing of hands at the entrances of the market. The use of hand sanitisers within the market.
“Those who have been allocated stores should proceed to make payments to the following account: Bank: Zenith Bank Account name: Rivers State Government Ogbum-Nu-Abali Market Revenue Account. Account no: 1017248739
” Failure to pay and take possession of stores would lead to the cancellation and reallocation of such stores.
