Rivers State Primary Health Care Management Board has announced the postponement of the scheduled integrated measles campaign which was to kick start on October 20th, Africa Update has been reliably informed.
The State Health Educator, Dr Babbo Diana, made the disclosure on behalf of the Director Community Health Services Department. The notice signed by Dr. Babbo, said the directive for the Postponement by one week was given by the National Board, due to some constraints.
‘Following this the new date is 27th October through 9th November. We regret any inconvenience,’ the notice read in part.
