A consignment of the COVID-19 vaccines has finally arrived Rivers State, after its celebrated arrival into the Country. Africa Update was informed by Government sources that the vaccines arrived the Port Harcourt International Airport Omagwa, yesterday.
Some top government officials who received the vaccines on behalf of the state government were the Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Professor Princewill Chike, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Health, Dr Ndidi Chikanele Utchay, Permanent Secretary Primary Health care Management Board Dr Agba Harry, Chief Medical Director (CMD) Rivers State University Teaching Hospital Dr Friday Aaron, Director Public Health and Disease Control Dr Golden Owhonda , the state Epidemiologist Dr Ifeoma Nwaditor and other health personnel.
