The decomposed body of the former Head of Theatre Arts Department,  College of Educaton, (COE), Oju, Mr Godwin Abuul,  was found stuck to the trunk of a small tree in River  Katsina-Ala , by a search party comprising the police, family members and local divers on Saturday, June 25.
The lecturer was allegedly murdered in Gboko about two weeks ago. by his wife and mother of his two children , (name withheld) in connivance with her siblings over alleged extra-marital affairs.
It was reported that Abuul, had gone missing about two weeks ago  after returning from Oju, where he lectured at the state-owned institution.
According to our source, the police had arrested a young man, who  was wearing the attire the lecturer was last seen in, and that led to startling  confession that Abuul’ s wife and her siblings had allegedly killed him.
He further told the police in Gboko that the vehicle belonging to the deceased was sold and the proceeds shared by the wife and her accomplices.
The Command Headquarters in Makurdi is currently investigating the murder with the woman and her siblings in police custody.
