Africa Update has received reports that a mid day storm has left destruction in its trail, as debris of electricity poles, and tress were seen everywhere.
The rainstorm which lasted for less than an hour has pulled down poles making it almost impossible for vehicular and human traffic along the very busy William Jumbo Street, Old GRA axis, in the heart of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, about a few meters from the Government House.
Residents around the neighborhood expressed gratitude to God for averting calamity during the storm, as the road links several government offices and also serve as a link to other major roads in the area.
