In the face of dwindling public image and stiff opposition, the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has reportedly commenced moves to hire Port Harcourt based newspapers to embark on aggressive propaganda.

A close source who gave the hint to Africa Update, noted that this is part of  strategies lined up to sway public opinion in his (Wike’s) favour.

It was revealed that the governor has allegedly set aside million for this purpose and the meeting slated to hold tomorrow morning at the Government House, is the first step in this direction.

Those listed to attend the meeting include National network, Independent monitor, Rivers Today, South-South Voice, amongst several others.
