The first ever women’s summit has kicked off in Rivers State at the State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The summit which is organised to discuss issues that affect women politically at all levels of governance, will attempt to provide solutions.
Notable women from all over Nigeria including wife of the Minister of Transportation, APC national woman leader, Hajia Salamatu Baiwa amongst several others presented papers at the summit with the theme: women and democracy: harnessing the strength for national development.
