Bayelsa’s double national awards winner, Bobby Chant says he has concluded plans to host a charity sensitization and entertainment programme geared towards putting smiles on the faces of flood victims in the state.
The National Civic Responsibility Recognition Award winner says the programme tagged Nigeria Unite For Bayelsa Flood Victims, is part of his personal social responsibility project for people of the state going through difficulty as a result of the ravaging flood.
Bobby Chant noted the programme is expected to be done in collaboration with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) and the Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), as the appropriate letters have been sent to the agencies.
The ‘I Love Nigeria’ crooner who sympathised with the flood victims in the state, commended the state government and every agency and individual who have come to the aid of the people.
Bobby Chant who would turn 38 on Tuesday November 8, reveals the programme is expected to hold tentatively on Sunday, November 27 at the Oxbow Lake, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The Afropop singer explained that the Bayelsa Unite For Flood Victims will feature some top Nigeria musicians and Nollywood stars and it is expected to drag both national and international attention to the plights of the state.
