Ibiyeomie visits victims of Asaba satellite Church collapse (Pictures)

Founder and Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries Worldwide, David Ibiyeomie, on Wednesday, visited the victims of the building housing a branch of the church that collapsed at Okpanam community in the Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.

The one storey building housing Salvation Ministries and other offices had collapsed during Tuesday evening service at about 5pm.

Africa Update gathered from multiple sources that the children section of the church, which occupied the first floor, had collapsed as the evening service was ongoing, trapping over 50 kids.

Men of the Delta State Emergency Management Agency, fire service and the state police command formed the rescue team as trapped chilrdren were crying under the debris of the collasped building.

The Secretary to the State Government, Patrick Ukah, team of Red Cross officers, and fire fighters were also on ground to assist with the rescue efforts.
