RIVPA Congratulates Chief Vincent Chukwu

The appointment of a renowned Journalist and Publisher as the press secretary of Emohua Local Government Area, in Rivers State has elicited reactions, recent being from Independent Publishers Association of Rivers State (RIVPA). A statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Pastor Jerry Needam, and Secretary, Solomon Parakon, read: ‘The leadership and members of Independent Publishers Association of Rivers State, (RIVPA), an umbrella body of newspaper publishers in Rivers State, wish to congratulate one of our own, Chief Vincent Chukwu, publisher of Mandate Quest newspaper on his appointment as the Secretary of Emohua Local Government Council, Rivers State.

‘We are very pleased to have a veteran journalist and foremost publisher in the State appointed to this exalted position of a Council Secretary. We make no doubt that Chief Chukwu, a seasoned media executive with vast experience will use his wealth of experience to bear on his new office to the benefit of the Emohua Local Government Council and the good people of Emohua.

‘Our gratitude also goes to the executive Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Dr Chidi Lloyd for finding our friend, colleague and member worthy of the office of Council Secretary. Our prayer is that the good Lord will grant Chief Chukwu and indeed, Dr Lloyd the strength and wisdom to achieve set goals for the common good of Emohua people and Rivers State in general.
