Commissioner for Environment, Igbiks Tamuno, have been sacked according to a statement released on Tuesday, Kelvin Ebiri, Special Assistant to the Governor on Media. The statement reads: “Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has sacked the State Commissioner for Environment, Dr Igbiks Tamuno,” Ebiri said in the statement. “The Governor directed the sacked Commissioner to submit all Government Documents and Property in his possession to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment.”
