Govt secondary school Ogu Old student Association congratulates new MD, DFA NDBDA

The Old student Association of Government secondary school, Ogu, has felicitated with Engr Mark Derefaka, on his recent appointment as the Managing Director, of the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority. A statement made available to Africa Update and signed by the President of the Association, Hon. Osaki P. Asobari, also congratulated the Executive Director Finance and Administration of the Authority, Alabo (Rev) Francis Ada Ebenezer.

Describing their appointments as well deserved and having “round pegs in round holes, ” the statement reads: “Derefaka, was a senior physics teacher of our Alma matter, Government secondary school, Ogu, in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area. ” His deliberate efforts as a physics teacher promoted students interest in the study of science subjects. Today the association is loaded with powerful engineers and science related professionals contributing to the school wellbeing. “Francis Ebenezer, an old student/prefect has contributed and still contributing highly to the needs and welfare of the school. I therefore on behalf of the association thank Mr. President for these appointments.”
