Governments at all levels have been urged to desist from infringing on the legitimate duties of the media as they seek to hold those in leadership positions accountable to the people. This call was made by the General Overseer of Footmarks of Christ Ministries Worldwide Incorporated, Rev. Goddy Oti, when he was honoured by Notable Outcome with the Uncommon Stewardship Award, in recognition of his consistent faith, patience and exploits in life and ministry.

Rev.Oti, who was appreciative of the recognition, however insisted that the citizens must be allowed to exercise their right to freedom of expression, which, according to him, is their own way of contributing to the promotion of good governance in the polity. The man of God, who said that he is called to be a prophet, pastor and deliverance minister, further said that he has seen the grace of God on his life over the years in the ministry.

Oti urged Nigerians to embrace righteousness so the country can be exalted, just as he called on Christians to be separate from the world, ensuring that they are following Jesus Christ and also keeping his word. He paid tributes to those who inspired him to remain in the faith and continue in the service of God, namely late Pastor Wilson Amadi, Rev.Chinemenum Ezinwo, Deacons Emma Wosu and Vincent Okeh; Bishop Yomi Isijola of Logos Ministries and members of Footmarks of Christ Ministries.

Earlier in his address, the publisher of Notable Outcome, Iheanyi Ezinwo, had observed that Rev.Goddy Oti was being honoured as part of activities marking the 14th anniversary of Notable Outcome because of his consistent faith, patience and exploits in life and ministry.
