The wind of change sweeping through the All Progressives Congress, APC, took a twist today, following the suspension of Igo Aguma, as acting Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the party. This decision was taken when 28 out of 38 statutory members of the party met today in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Capital. The statutory members rejected Igo Aguma as the acting Chairman of the party and constituted another caretaker committee led by Sokonte Davies. Addressing journalists, after the meeting, the statutory members said Aguma was acting against the spirit and letters of the High Court judgment that made him a caretaker chairman. The new caretaker committee has Hon. Dr. Sokonte Davies, as the chairman, Hon Sampson Egop – Secretary, Hon Ogbonna Nwuke – Publicity Secretary, Hon. Mrs. Irene Inimgba – Woman Leader and Hon.
