Daredevil gunmen, have hijacked a passenger boat along the Bakana Creeks, on Monday.
The incident according to the Chairman of the Bakana boat drivers association, George Promise, occurred few minutes from Bakana community, in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State.

He said the gunmen, allegedly operated as security operatives and other boat operators watched helplessly.
He called on relevant authorities to provide gunboats and other sophisticated guns, to enable the security agents perform their duties efficiently.

He decried the increasing rates of attacks along the Port Harcourt to Bakana route, reiterating that urgent action is required.
