On Several Occasions The Governor of Rivers State,  His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike Has Demonstrated  Exceptional Leadership Qualities By Listening To Genuine Call For His Intervention In Issues Of Public Interest , Especially As It Affects The Welfare Of The People Of Rivers State.

His Proactive Response To Some of These Calls Best Describes  His Love For The State And His Commitment To The  Welfare Of The People Who Elected Him Into Office,  Which Is Unarguable The Reason Why His Support Base In The State and Across The Country Increases On Daily Basis.

One Of Such Cases Is The VARIETY NIGHT WITH THE GOVERNOR CONCERT  Initiated By His Administration during His 3rd Year Anniversary Celebration in 2018, which has become an Annual Event…

Recall That The 1st Edition of the Concert had More Lagos Base Entertainers In the bill which led to a genuine online Protest By Some Of the  Ardent Supporters of The Governor On The Eve Of The Event, On The Need To Include More Of Rivers Base Entertainers In the Bill for the Event As A way Of Giving Our Local Content A Sense Of Belonging In The State.

In Demonstration Of His Exceptional Leadership Style,  Mr Project Proactive Ordered the Committee Organising The Event To Include More Rivers Base Artists To Perform Alongside Their Lagos Counterparts,  Even Though They Weren’t Paid The Same Amount… And Of Course All Artist Cannot Receive The Same Amount…
Top Among the Beneficiaries Of That Online Protest Were Veteran Jerry Demua and Songstress Jikume Bethlehem etc. And am sure non of them disappointed the Governor with their performance on the day of the event, which I think is the reason why some of them are Billed to Perform in the 2nd Edition of the event. .

As We Look Forward To The 2nd Edition of the Epoch Making Event “VARIETY NIGHT WITH THE GOVERNOR” billed to hold at Obiwali International Conference Center Today 23rd May 2019 at 7:00pm , I Wish To Humbly and Heartily Commend  Our Father, Leader And Listening Governor For Increasing The Number Of Rivers Base Entertainers In The Bill For the Historic Event..

From The Bill We Can See That Rivers Base Entertainers Dominates the List of Artists lined Up For the Event… This to me is another Plus To Mr Project And All Those Who Stood Up for that Genuine Online Protest a Year ago.

I Must Verily Say That  Am Pleased With My Self And Conscience That I Actually Led That Protest, And  with the help of some others who saw reasons to join me,  We Got the Attention Of Our Father and Governor Within 5 Hours of the Protest and a Statement Was Made.

This Success Is Also A Plus To The #RiversEntertainersMarch organised by Rivers State Entertainment Stakeholders Forum on the 9th of May 2019, were the Forum made case for the intervention of Rivers State Government In The Entertainment Sector In Rivers State as It Has done in Other Sectors.

While Members of the Rivers State Entertainment Stakeholders Forum Awaits A Round Table Discussion With the Governor As Promised By The Governor,   I Think the Governor Has Again Demonstrated That He Actually Got Their Message By Increasing The Number Of Rivers Base Artist To Perform At The Event,  Even Though A Lot Of Talents Making Rivers State Proud In The Entertainment Industry were Not Still Captured In The Bill This Time… And Of Course everyone cannot be captured in a particular event… I think the Future is “BRIGHT” for The Entertainment Industry In Rivers State Under The Watch Of Governor Wike.
