The Rivers State Police Command has warned that it would implement the ‘restricted movement order’ issued by the State electoral commission, tomorrow during the Local Government Council elections.
The state police boss Zaki Ahmed, briefed newsmen at a press conference ahead of the planned elections.
He said the command will deploy policemen to wards and units to forestall breakdown of law and order.
Zaki, warned politicians and important personalities to be law abiding.
Recall that the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission had issued a statement restricting movement from 6am to 4pm on Saturday.
