Turkish giants, Fenerbahce, have officially announced the transfer of Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike to Greek super house Olympiakos for a fee in the region of 2 million Euros.
Emenike was scheduled to undergo medical on Tuesday, ahead of completing his transfer to the Greek champions after he arrived in Athens, Greece, from Istanbul, Turkey.
It was gathered that the contract will be for two years with an option for an additional one year and it is worth two million Euros.
Olympiacos had already agreed a transfer fee of 2.5 million Euros with Fenerbahce .
Expectations have reached fever pitch as the whole of Greece has stood still for the arrival of Emenike.
The local sports papers have given prominence and space to the transfer of the 30-year-old Nigeria striker, who struggled for game time in Turkey last season.
Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has tipped Emenike to be a smash hit at the perennial Greek champions if he is properly handled both on and off the pitch.
