As citizens all over the world witness the heralding of the new year, David Okumgba, the  South-South Zonal Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has urged members of the party in the zone to make aggressive drive for new members an integral part of their new year resolutions.
The APC Chieftain  gave the charge in his new year message to members of the Party across the South-South Zone.  Okumgba affirmed that a strategic and massive membership drive will not only grow the Party’s membership strength but will also improve its chances of taking over the region in 2019.
The Zonal Secretary added that a major way to improve on the Party’s popularity was by reaching out to undecided voters with the view to persuade them to embrace the Progressives ideology.
He added that this could only be achieved through “operation one by ten” exercise, where each member is encouraged to get at least ten new members into the Party.
Okumgba, prayed God to guide and guard party faithfuls as they continue to merry through out the festive season, and further enjoined them continue to pray for the Party and its leadership always.
