Late Emma Aguma: Rivers State Govt holds night of tributes, closes streets around venue

The night of Tributes in honour of the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Emmanuel Aguma, holds today at the Rex Lawson Cultural Centre, in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

A statement signed by the commissioner for information and communications, Emma Okah, also disclosed that some streets leading to the venue of the event would be closed to vehicular traffic.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

This is to inform the public that there will be a temporary closure of two roads namely – Bonny Street by Sokoto Street through Dame Patience Jonathan Road (Creek Road) and Bonny Street by Barrack Road all in Township Area of Port Harcourt from 4pm today Thursday 13th September, 2018.

This closure is necessary to ensure smooth flow of traffic and management of vehicles around the Rex Lawson Cultural Centre, venue of the Night of Tributes organised by the Rivers State Government in honour of the departed Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Hon Sir Emmanuel Chinwenwo Aguma SAN

All inconveniences which this temporary closure will cause road users, businesses and residents are regretted.
