The Governorship Candidate of the Action Alliance has declared that the future of Rivers State depends on the state of the institution of government. He declared this while addressing Christian leaders and faithful during the New Year Breakfast session of the interdenominational Global Mega Prayer Quake of the Ministers Prayer Network.
According to the frontline governorship candidate in the State, his major priority for taking the State to the next level of peace and shared prosperity will be anchored on building strong institutions with godly values. He said the moral decay in the society is largely responsible for the increase in violent crime in the State and the the 2023 general elections offer the best opportunity for goodly leaders to rise up to rebuild the broken walls of morality, service and love.
In his address, the convener of the Revival programme, Rev. Prof. Mosy Madugba, thanked God for the clearity of thought of Dr. George on his governance blueprint and expressed hope for the State with the presence of godly men like Dr. Dawari George in the political space. He called on more God fearing individuals and the Church seize the moment to provide leadership to restore society to the path of righteousness. Prayers were offered by the large congregation of believers for Dr. Dawari George for God’s direction in his campaigns.
