The Nigerian Bar Association Port Harcourt Branch, says the Presidential Investigation Panel on Abuses by the Military headed by Hon. Justice B. A Georgewill of the Court of Appeal, for South South Zone, will commence sitting from Monday, September 25th to Thursday September 28th, 2017, at the CJ’s Ceremonial Court Hall, High Court Premises, Station Road.
According to a statement signed by the NBA Publicity Secretary, Gloria A. Ohia, the panel will commence sitting from 9am daily.
she further stated that ‘the panel is still open to receiving complaints and same will be entertained whether or not a memorandum had earlier been submited. Verifiable abuses will be compensated and in deserving cases the officers involved will be prosecuted.’
